Our Story

Hide Altitude is a leather goods company started in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, and now based in Boston, MA.  
We create unique bags designed from the highest quality of kodiak leather and shearling from the Patagonia region of Argentina.  

Jacqueline and Patricia Barrett, the founders of Hide Altitude, have always been in search of a simple but elegant bag.  Our bags were inspired from my experience of living in Jackson Hole and a trip to Bariloche, Argentina.  While in Argentina we were surrounded by the highest quality and most beautiful sheep shearling, which inspired the June Clutch, named after my beloved and stylish Grandmother. Each bag is individually made with its own unique cowhide or shearling flap, as well as the HA brand stamped on the back.
